Our school is located in a small town, in the
northeast of Portugal, close to one of the most
important wind power parks in the country.Tondela
is an agriculture area. Wine is the most important
production. There are also some industries e.g.
a chemistry laboratory. People work in industries
or with service, but they practise subsistence
agriculture in their fields.
We want to educate students about good practices
in the use of energy. The students in different
cultures will get to know each other and this
will promote friendship, mutual respect and
an increased dimension of European citizenship.
